Ma peinture évoque le paysage, un paysage en construction. Retranscrire et défaire, comme une manière de s’approprier et de comprendre ce qui est observé, traversé, vécu. Jeu d’échelle, perspective cassée, couleurs qui crissent; imbrication, étendue, soulèvement; déconstruction.

Vent et pluie, chaleur et lumière, odeurs, couleurs et sons...

Escapades et poésies me chargent de sensations brutes, de vibrations accumulées; puis la magie de la transformation s’opère dans mon atelier. Par de petits ou de très grands formats, je plonge dans la couleur, déploie l’énergie en plans, espaces, ouvertures, confusions et pertes d’échelle à la limite de l’abstraction, pour me remémorer le chant du paysage.

Franco-allemande, née en 1980, je vis et travaille en région parisienne.

Diplômée de l’ENSAAMA –Olivier de Serres à Paris, en arts textile et impression en 2001 et de la Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee en 2004.

Représentée par la Galerie Caron Bedout à Bourron Marlotte de 2020 à 2023 et par la galerie Namy Cauliez, Paris, de 2020 à 2024.

To begin with, I studied at the Ecole Olivier de Serres (ENSAAMA, Paris), with textile design as the inexhaustible basis for the interplay of shapes and colours. I then obtained a higher diploma in applied arts from the Kunsthochschule in Berlin, three years which allowed me to conceptualise my work on the living object, even meeting Andy Goldsworthy (Land Art), to discover lithography and, above all, to gain abroader perspective on the practice of the visual arts.

These were followed by a few years exploring different paths – drawing motifs for fabrics and wallpaper, photographing objects and painting landscapes – before I finally settled on painting alone.

My work evokes nature. Trips away and poetry fill me with raw sensations, which then undergo a magical transformation in my studio. Whether I use small or very large formats, I steep myself in colour and blur the contours of space; I channel and direct my impulses to convey on canvas what I feel.

To explore, to be taken by surprise, to question the immensity of existence, to grasp the infinite ... all these are ways for me to escape from the world, in order to experience it more fully and to recall the sounds of the countryside.
